A student at Gallaudet University wants to hear from Deaf people who did not vote in the November 8 Election. If you did not vote and are Deaf, please fill out this survey at ww.tinyurl.com/surveyfordeafnonvoters. The survey only has seven questions and should take less than five minutes to complete. All questions, and multiple-choice answers are given both in American Sign Language (ASL) videos and English text.
The survey results will be used to improve ASL election resources and make voting more accessible for voters who are Deaf. Some examples of ASL resources include ASL videos on candidates’ positions and an ASL hotline on videophone to help Deaf people resolve their voting issues.
